St. John Lutheran Preschool is an Outreach Ministry of 
St. John Lutheran Church Waverly.

Mission:

To develop the whole child, in spirit, mind, and body, to live as a child of God. 

Curriculum:

Our program is Christian, child-centered, activity based. We use Voyages (CPH) for our daily "Jesus Time" and Creative Curriculum for our academics.  We have chapel on Monday and Thursday, led by our pastors.

License:

St. John Lutheran Preschool is licensed with the Iowa Department of Human Services.

Teaching Staff:

Our director/teacher, Melissa Haugo, is licensed by the Department of Education and has an Elementary Education degree with Early Childhood certification. We also have a teacher associate in each class. Our ratio is 2:18 when at full capacity. 

Enrollment:

To enroll for the 2012-13 school year at St. John Lutheran Preschool, a child must be 3 years old by September 15, 2012 and self-sufficient in the bathroom.
